Commanding General

Brig. Gen. Paige M. Jennings

Brig. Gen. Paige M. Jennings assumed duties as the U.S. Army Financial Management Command commanding general on July 15, 2021, after most recently serving as a congressional appropriations liaison for the Office of the Secretary of Defense Comptroller, Budget and Appropriations Affairs.

In her role, Jennings ensures USAFMCOM enables the readiness of America’s Army by serving as the Army’s focal point for all finance and comptroller operations while providing capabilities that facilitate accountability, auditability and stewardship.

Jennings is a native of Missoula, Montana, and received a Regular Army commission into the Finance Corps in 1995 as a distinguished military graduate of the University of Montana’s Grizzly Battalion Army Reserve Officer Training Corps program. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an accounting emphasis from the University of Montana; a Master of Science degree in management with an accounting emphasis from the University of Maryland, University College; and a Master of Science degree in national resource strategy from the National Defense University Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy.

Jennings served in a variety of leadership and staff assignments, providing financial management, programming, budget and resourcing support to the Army, special operations forces and defense intelligence organizations. She served in Baumholder, Germany; the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, Ft. Campbell, Kentucky; Ft. Meade, Maryland; Ft. Eustis, Virginia; Ft. Belvoir, Virginia; Alexandria, Virginia; Austin, Texas; and the Pentagon.

She also served as the 8th Finance Battalion Headquarters and Alpha Detachments commander; U.S. Army Operations Support Element comptroller and deputy commander for resourcing; the Intelligence and Security Command resource manager (G8); U.S. Army Futures Command Task Force Resourcing team lead; and AFC comptroller and director of resource management.

Jennings’ military education and training includes the Finance Officer Basic and Advanced Courses; Combined Arms Services and Staff School; Command and General Staff College; Airborne School; Air Assault School; and The Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy. She also holds Department of Defense Financial Management Level-3 certification and is a Certified Defense Financial Manager.
