INDIANAPOLIS - Maj. Gen. David C. Coburn, U.S. Army Financial Management Command commanding general, left; Spc. Kayla Adkins, 384th Military Police Company, center; and Command Sgt. Maj. Courtney Ross, USAFMCOM command sergeant major, cut a birthday cake during a ceremony celebrating both the 244th Army birthday and the 244th birthday of the Army Finance Corps at the Maj. Gen. Emmett J. Bean Federal Center in Indianapolis June 14, 2019. It is an Army tradition that the youngest Soldier available at an Army birthday celebration help the commander and sergeant major cut a cake, and Adkins was the youngest at 22 years old.
