Bennett to relinquish command of USAFMCOM today

Brig. Gen. Mark S. Bennett will relinquish command of the U.S. Army Financial Management Command during a special virtual ceremony at the Maj. Gen. Emmett J. Bean Federal Center in Indianapolis today at 10 a.m. ET.

Gen. Edward M. Daly, U.S. Army Materiel Command commanding general, will preside over the ceremony, which can be watched live and after the ceremony at https://www.dvidshub.net/webcast/26079​.

The ceremony will also be live broadcast on Facebook at www.facebook.com/USAFMCOM.

Bennett, who took command of USAFMCOM in October 2019, will next serve as the Director of Army Budget. To learn more about Bennett, view his biography at https://www.usafmcom.army.mil/About-Us/Leadership/Article/1744084/commanding-general/.

Mr. Barry Hoffman, USAFMCOM deputy to the commanding general, will serve as USAFMCOM’s senior leader until Bennett’s replacement assumes command.

USAFMCOM conducts enterprise-level financial operations and provides technical coordination for financial management units and commands across the Army in order to ensure the effective implementation of policies and programs to support optimally resourcing the Army.
